At ELC Daycare, our children recently enjoyed a fun and educational **Vegetable Activity Day**. This hands-on experience introduced them to different types of vegetables, their colors, textures, and health benefits in a playful and engaging way.
The children explored vegetables such as carrots, tomatoes, spinach, potatoes, and cucumbers. They learned the names of each vegetable, where it comes from, and why eating vegetables helps our bodies grow strong and healthy.
Through cutting, sorting, touching, and tasting, the activity helped improve fine motor skills, sensory development, and vocabulary. The children also enjoyed creating colorful veggie art and participating in group discussions about their favorite foods.
Activities like this support early science learning, healthy eating habits, and social interaction. At ELC Daycare, we believe learning should always be fun, practical, and meaningful.
